Membership Options and Prices

* The Images Plus Card gives you unlimited use of Images Fitness Suites at Kempston Pool, Robinson Pool and the Oasis Beach Pool and the Gyms at the Bunyan Sports Centre and Bedford International Athletic Stadium.

Pay As You Go Option

It is also possible to use Images @ Kempston Pool on a casual Pay As You Go basis.  An initial fee is required for a pre-booked induction.  Please contact the facility for more information

Equipment

Our new facility is fitted with state of the art Technogym equipment encompassing the latest key system enabling you to track distance travelled, calories burned and weight lifted per visit.

Your progress is tracked easily and accurately using the TGS Key (a key shaped microchip).  Your individual training programme is loaded to the key every time you check in at the gym at the Wellness Expert Kiosk, once your workout is complete download the information back into the Wellness Expert Kiosk and check out your results.  How quickly can you complete the Tour De France or run the New York Marathon?  Check all this out at the Wellness Expert Kiosk.  Using this state of the art technology allows our highly trained Fitness Consultants to create and customise a programme specific to your needs then track your progress.

Bored with just sitting staring at four walls all of our Cardio equipment are fitted with televisions with seven different channels and a radio option.

After a hard workout, relax in the sauna or take a dip in the pool (programme dependant).

Membership Benefits

Fitness Testing

Using the Technogym Key System we can offer you regular fitness tests in a variety of areas and keep track of your progress.  You can track your own results via the Wellness Expert Kiosk thus monitoring your own personal achievements.

Programme Setting

After the initial induction stage, you can then book a consultation with a member of our qualified team who will tailor a programme to suit your individual needs, whether that be weight loss, improved fitness or tone.

Separate Changing

Images @ Kempston Pool provides separate key coded changing facilities for our members.

Sauna

For a little indulgence or to relax after your workout the use of our 12 person sauna is included within the constraints of your membership.

Swimming

Included within your membership is the use of Kempston Pool (programme dependant and within the constraints of your membership).  So if you fancy a splash after your workout or a change to your gym routine you can opt for a dip in the pool.

Membership Discounts

Your Images membership card can be used to gain discounts across other DSD Leisure Sites, here at Kempston Pool your membership entitles you to discounts on swimwear and shop stock.  

Aquacise          

Similar to aerobics these water based exercise classes allow a safe and effective workout and reducing impact on joints.  Using a variety of equipment and great music our qualified instructors will create a fun workout to improve all round fitness.

Booking is required, classes included within the constraints of your membership.

Aquatone

A more gentle water workout.  Ideal for those recovering from injury, those starting to exercise after a break or those for whom regular gentle exercise is enough.

GP Referral

For those seeking rehabilitation through exercise following injury or other medical reasons, Images @ Kempston Pool are pleased to be able to offer a GP Referral Scheme.

Upon receipt of a letter from your GP (specific surgeries only) citing why exercise may be of benefit to you, if you meet the right criteria, we can then sign you up to use Images Fitness Suite for 10 weeks at a cost of £2.50 per session.

How to Apply

Joining couldn’t be easier!  To apply simply call into Kempston Pool collect an Images information pack, fill it in and return it to us with two passport sized photographs and payment. 

Pay for a year upfront and get an additional month of your membership F.O.C. 

If you wish to pay by Direct Debit, please note that an administration fee is payable, along with the first month’s payment and that you will be required to be a member for a minimum of 3 months.

A £10 deposit is required by all gym users for the TGS Key, this will be returned to you upon receipt of the key should you wish to terminate your membership.
